Jakarta, August 21, 2026 – Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to transform the way people work, including in Quality Assurance (QA) and software testing. AI can support more than everyday tasks. It can also help automate processes, review test scripts, identify errors, and turn data into clear and actionable outputs.
This was the experience of several Telkomsel employees who joined “AI for Automation Testing: Modern QA Practices, Test Automation with Playwright & Cypress,” held on August 20–21, 2026, at the Telkomsel Smart Office in Gatot Subroto, Jakarta.
Organized in collaboration with Kodinggo, the two-day training introduced participants to practical ways of using AI in automation testing and applying it to their day-to-day work.
Using AI to Identify and Fix Script Errors
One of the participants, Syamsunil, said the two-day training provided valuable insights that could be applied directly to his work. One of the most useful topics for him was learning how to track errors when something goes wrong with an existing script.
“We learned how to track errors in the scripts we have created, how to fix them, and how to check the results,” said Syamsunil.
He also sees an opportunity to use AI to review and improve existing scripts. According to him, the results could eventually be developed into a dashboard tailored to specific work requirements.
“Hopefully, the existing scripts can be checked and fixed using AI. Then, the output can be turned into a dashboard that meets our needs,” he added.
Turning Data into Easy-to-Understand Dashboards
A similar experience was shared by Juswaldi Nur, another Telkomsel employee who participated in the training. He said the automation sessions gave him a new perspective on how existing data can be processed and transformed into information that is easier to understand.
“The two-day training on automation was very useful because we learned that our existing data can be automated and turned into a dashboard that is easy for people to understand,” said Juswaldi.
He sees data screening and dashboard development as two areas where AI can be applied directly to his work. With the right prompts, AI can help process data and turn it into information that is ready to be presented to management.
“We can prompt the AI directly, and it can turn the data into something that is ready to be presented to the manager,” he explained.
Making QA Processes More Efficient with AI
The participants’ experiences show that AI in automation testing is not simply about adopting new technology. More importantly, AI can help simplify and improve everyday work processes.
From reviewing scripts and identifying errors to supporting data screening and transforming information into dashboards, AI can help QA professionals work more efficiently and make better use of the data they already have.
Through the AI for Automation Testing training, participants also explored modern QA practices and learned how tools such as Playwright and Cypress can support test automation.
Building AI Skills for the Future of Work
The training is part of the Kodinggo learning program, which helps companies and professionals strengthen their AI and digital technology skills based on real-world workplace needs.
With a practical, hands-on approach, participants not only learn about AI concepts but also explore how the technology can be applied to solve real challenges in their daily work.
